Note:

The MCAT exam is changing in the spring of 2015. At this time, AAMC has released very little information about the actual changes to the test, however, we do know that the entire test is being revised, therefore, becoming more difficult, with new question types as well as increasing by 50% in length.

Given the level of quality courses that Oxford Seminars has been providing since 1992, our MCAT course curriculum is being revised to reflect these changes. As such we are unable to schedule any MCAT courses for 2015 presently.

Proven Test-Taking Strategies

Our highly trained, dynamic MCAT Preparation instructors focus on effective test-taking strategies. We thoroughly review all topics covered by the MCAT. During our courses, you will be exposed to a variety of strategies which include:

  • reviewing specific scientific principles

  • effective problem solving in physics, chemistry, and biology

  • synthesizing concepts and ideas

  • critical reading of passages

  • drawing proper inferences and deductions

  • learning to recognize wrong answer types

  • working strategically under strictly timed conditions

  • developing an effective personal study schedule

In order to expose you to the latest MCAT test format, questions from recent MCAT tests will be taken up in class. Our written materials are constantly updated to reflect the most recent changes in the MCAT. Thus, you will be able to evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses and focus on those areas where you need the most practice.

Our comprehensive weekend courses let you concentrate in an atmosphere free from distractions and interruptions.
